Scio is a Nearshore-based developer of SaaS and On-Demand applications for ISVs and new Internet-based businesses. Our Haut Tec blog is an outgrowth of our consulting services to our customers and part of our on-going contribution to the industry and search for new ideas.

Luis Aburto, CEO
A veteran of international technology and engineering consulting for corporate and government clients in the U.S. and Latin America, Mr Aburto brings to Scio a passionate commitment to smart business planning and meticulous development processes and project management. A native of Morelia, Mexico who has traveled and lived across the globe, Mr Aburto holds a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a master’s in computer-aided engineering from Strathclyde University in Scotland.
Michael Dunham, Principal Consultant
As Scio’s principal consultant, Dunham provides clients insight into market and technology trends that impact business and technology planning, as well as planning and facilitating the processes Scio uses to bring clients’ ideas to life. A native of Sacramento, CA, he holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of California at Davis.
